@pagantry: Also, to avoid that awful clank noise, you can tape the weights down. It works a lot better!(:

Nice technique, I really liked that.
2 tips,
Gloves Gloves Gloves, seriously it'll help you catch even harder
When you weight a flag, wrap a little toilet paper around the bolts, and that'll avoid that awful "CLANK!"

I first saw this video a little over two years ago when I was working on my own tryout for captain. Since then, I have seen numerous other "guard" videos and your's still stands as my all-time favorite flag routine.

@emilyisreallycool too short!!! I would love to have seen you do the entire song!!! I was the captain of my high school color guard also, and I remember our tryouts were also short segments. you're wonderful and I hope you're still in color guard!
