It all began with an idea born out of respect for American ingenuity and the abilities of the U.S. workforce. In 1985, Toyota - the strongest of Japan's automakers - decided to unite its manufacturing know-how with America's strengths to produce a car made in America by Americans.*
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky (TMMK), in Georgetown, Kentucky is now Toyota's largest production facility outside of Japan. This $5 billion automotive complex embodies the winning spirit and innovative thinking that creates Toyota Avalon, Camry/Camry Hybrid and Camry Solara coupe and convertible.
This technically advanced 7.92 million sq. ft. manufacturing complex has infused new life into the commonwealth of Kentucky by creating over 20,000 jobs, including those at TMMK and throughout our growing community of suppliers. The result has been success and growth beyond our most ambitious expectations.

Africa is the ultimate test for a vehicle durability. especially where i come from because there few major road and alot of them are bunkers and pot holes so that been said. The reason why most africans choose TOyota is because it surpasses all roads and long lasting. > there is something that toyota is doing that surpasses everybody else.

I love Toyota BECAUSE of the Tacoma. Respect Toyotas forever, do not disgrace them. I've heard a lot of comments over to another video that the toyotas rust frame problems and chipped paint comes off, etc. Well, if you want to keep it in good shape for as long as you live.. then just take care of it and you won't have any problems with it. I own a 1996 tacoma and i haven't had any problems with it but the paint coming off. i take it to the shop to get it fixed and the paint looks good now.

Very agreed with heartlessvietboy on car should go for 10 years before changing models.
Toyota is one example of actual wasted even to the buyers pride.

I think a car should go for 10 years before changing models. Save lots of energy and work.

@jayhawkfan91 the LFA isn't pretty and it cost $300,000.
And the corolla would have the same aerodynamics as a Cadillac.

@SpazGamingHD But it wouldn't be as pretty, would it? :) I doubt that even a 400 hp engine would bring a factory Corolla to that level of performance alone, but with some modifications to suspension, aerodynamics and the like, it could very well be quite impressive.

@SpazGamingHD Actually, I just checked on price. I was way off. The LFA starts at $375,000 and the CTS-V has a base price of $65,000. Different game entirely.

@jayhawkfan91 why not slap a 300-400hp engine into a corolla and make it rwd for a fraction of the price?
Chances are it would be on par then.
Those dinky little sedans are lightweight enough. They dont need fiberglass or carbon fiber. Like If I put an engine swap onto my sentra and a cheap turbo kit. Then it could run 11 second quarter miles.
