I realize that most of these comments are from 3 years ago; however, this montage stuck in my head as something I like to share with my editing students. Beautiful piece. I would like to get in touch with the editor to see if there is any way to get hold of the footage used in this, just to see if my students can cut something anywhere near as good. I'm sure that it would be a miracle if any could do it justice. A great example of visual filmmaking and multi-plane/multi-effect editing.

This scene kills me because I can't believe that Jason still chose the mob over his son. I'm so over his excuses because this should have been it for him. He should have said screw everything...nothing matters more than Jake and he didn't. What pisses me off is that the writers think it's ok to put him back with Spam like there's nothing wrong with that. It's too controversial and such a slap in his son's face!

I have to admit, before I really thought the mob thing made the show edgy and cool and I have sooooo changed my mind. It's stupid and it gets old. Other soaps don't have mobs and they are just as exciting.
