great job! but you do know that your not allowed to run or jump on the holocaust museum in germany right?
sinthoras18 2 years ago 4
@sinthoras18 we didn't know until later that it was the holocaust museum. when we first approached it, there were no signs indicating what it was. also, people were running around and jumping all over it. we've already addressed this in earlier comments... we meant NO disrespect. the memorial itself (downstairs) was extremely moving, sad, and touching.

You jumping around on the Berlin holocaust memorial is like you hopping on the pillars of the WWII Memorial in Washington.
What were you thinking?

honestly, at first we did not realize that this was the holocaust memorial. we approached the memorial from an unmarked side and we did not realize what it was until we explored the entire perimeter. despite how you may view our (unknowing) actions as inappropriate, it seems the designer had a different view (read the articles about it).
we did visit the underground part which was very moving & emotional. obviously, these events were a horrible part of our history.
