Maybe because he composed it at 7 and he was very influenced by Mozart music at that time.

im just learning this piece and what im trying to focus on are eight,and sixteenth notes in the begining. by the way, great performance you clearly put passion and emotion to your playing, adam

@KroMosxFubreeze You asked about the repeating notes: in this case, using the second finger allows you to better control the motion and direction of the repeated figure.

Dear Kana, are you planning to play the seventeen Polonaises by Chopin? Or, better still, to record them? You perform so brilliantly that I would rather listen to you in one of the Great Polonaises of the maturity......

Recording all the Polonaises would be fun! Now that I passed my dissertation oral defense, I can finally start doing some more performances and recording projects. My students are playing those three pieces, so that is why I did a quick run through recording. Professionals rarely record these pieces, so students have nothing to listen to; they've become an essential part of the young pianist's repertoire. I would like to do a recording project that includes all of "the pieces from my childhood."
