Some quick footage from the White Lotus Kung Fu 2011. The primary purpose of this video was to test out my new Sony HDR-TD10 and dial in the workflow between my camera, Sony Vegas 10 and then loading it as a 3D YouTube video. I exported this version in the SONY MXF 1920x1080 24p 50mbps top/bottom codec. I wanted to show how the 60i to 24p conversion looks with action stuff. Also, for a note to everyone out there, I like to export my 3D videos in top/bottom when using the HDR-TD10, because it records in 60i and I find top/bottom to minimize the effects of converting the interlaced footage, as opposed to side by side.
I'm also running a laptop with NVIDIA Active 3D enabled monitor and emitter (NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M 1GB graphics w/Optimus) and watch the playback on youtube using html5 3D playback.
This video is intended to be nothing more than a test, but should give you a of tricking in 3D, as well as the quality of the HDR-TD10 paired with the workflow through Vegas into YouTube.
I'm guessing that is a YouTube issue, I'm seeing the same thing tho. It looks good in 360p 3D, but the 2d is all pixelated.
