A UH-1 Iroquois ("HUEY") from the RI Army National Guard "Dust Off",249th Medical Co. Air Ambulance Det 1,lands At RI Urban Search & Rescue Task Force 1(RIUSAR TF1)
for day of Training.
The Fly in was made by a Viet Nam Pilot. This would be one of his last Good Will Missions ending a long and distinguished career.

I've been assigned to the 249th Med Co in Rochester. Its a NY Unit, isnt it? I'm gettin info that says its a RI unit and some that says its a RI Unit. im pretty confused

i did a 3 month rotation with the 36th med det. way back when,and the UH-1 will never go out of style with me.
