After the final landing on December 15th 2010 of the RAF's fleet of Harrier's at RAF Cottesmore, the pilots and ground crew walk between a Guard of Honour whilst a 3 ship of Red Arrows flies over. A truly sad and emotional day and a waste of a fantastic aircraft all in the name of saving a few pounds. Time will show that this was a mistake for the British Government...
....in fact less just about 3 months later we are going into Libya where these jets, that are in storage now, could of been used more effectively from a carrier, rather than flying from the UK as we are doing!!!

  • I saw these Harriers in 2008, my brother in law who was stationed there, arrange to see the Harriers. The best plane Britain had and now sold to the USA. Britain is losing its pride as the best planes in the world!!! God save the Queen.

  • its stupid all this isent it and now they want rookie pilots and crew to replace people that have experience

  • It was Highland Cathedral that brought a tear to my eye!
