Alex Pettyfer & Lily Collins Pairing Up For "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones"?

Will I Am Number Four's leading man Alex Pettyfer soon be hitting the big screen with Taylor Lautner's rumored real-life girlfriend Lily Collins? ClevverTV has the full-fledged break down in just a few seconds.

Welcome back to ClevverTV -- I'm your host Joslyn Davis coming to you from our headquarters in Hollywood. Alex PEttyfer is one of the hottest young actors to Tinseltown as of late, and now we're learning that he might be doing a film project alongside Lily Collins, who is clearly an actress who falls into that same category.

According to imdb, both Alex and Lily are attached to a book turned movie called "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones." The film will be about a normal young girl named Clary Fray, who learns that her true identity and bloodline is not what she thinks it is after her mom is attacked and taken from their home in New York City. This sends Clary on a quest that will change her entire life. Clary, of course, will be played by Lily, while Alex's is set to play Jace, a sarcastic, hunky warrior.

And while we're hearing that this casting news on Alex might still be wavering a bit, the 20 year old actor does seem excited about Lily being in the film. He told MTV that he thinks she "is a great pick for the role." So do you guys agree? Also, the writer of the book series, Cassandra Clare, put it out there that even she thinks it seems like he's set to take on the Jace role, and that he asked his agent to make it happen. Being that "The Mortal Instruments" is a book series -- we'd love to hear what those of you who have read them think about these casting choices. And also let us know which of you are looking forward to seeing Alex and Lily battle it out together on screen.

I absolutely LOVE these books Classadra Clare is my favourite author of all time!!! both her mortal interments and internal devices serise are absolutely awesome!! i can't wait for the new book to come out "city of lost souls". i think alex pettyfer would be GREAT for the role of Jace, and Lilly collins would be also good for the role of Clary. please just make up your mind for the actors to be in it and start making the film!! I just can't wait!!!!
