Yeah you read correct, people. This is my first attempt at a decent mashup, so I figured I'd do something interesting. The three tracks I chose, imo, mash well together. I had the theme from "The Jeffersons" dancing around in my head on all the nights I aired the Beyonce track at the club. That being said, it took less time to arrange the video than it did for the remix itself. I opted to lay down further instrumentation in Logic once the vocal tracks were aligned as Apple Loops. The drums may sound familiar; they are multisamples from Prince's drum library. Got a little "Let's Go Crazy" floatin' round in this, dunnit?? lol The bassline comes from Rob Papen Blue softsynth. And, for the record, I'm available to remix YOUR song, if you're an aspiring artist. My rates are reasonable, and I'm always looking for the notch on my resume. Now that my shameless plug is over, enjoy the video. Comments appreciated as always....cheers, -C. www.coreystuart.com www.myspace.com/coreystuart PS--for those in the NYC area, I spin music videos each n every Saturday night at SLANE public house. JCOAB I have to comment on something again of yours & the 2nd time ever on Youtube?! You know that I luv mash-ups and for your first attempt at one, comparatively to any others that are made from any first time newbie. I am absolutely and unequivocally blown away by as you so humbly wrote, this is my first attempt at doing one. LOL, all I have to say is whatever?!
