    LMAO @ "dumbphones"

    Well said, sir!

  • hey i cant chat in fb app on my wave 2,,,whenevr i clik on chat onlineit sayz FAILED TO COONECT WITH SERVER,,,,plzz help me

  • @avalonkiller This page makes no mention of it being implemented on bada first, although it does show that it exists on proprietary dumbphones, which presumably happened before eiuther android or bada, and like I already said, it doesn't matter, because only Samsung phones have it, so it is not a feature of Andrioid...

  • @domosification en.wikipedia [dot] org/wiki/TouchWiz

Though it is not necessarily implied here, Samsung created TouchWiz, and it was first implemented on bada. You can see on the picture on the right side of this site, which is entirely TouchWiz--under Android.

  • @avalonkiller Actually, the notification menu was in android before bada was made, and Touchwiz is not even part of Android, but simply something Samsung added to their phones, again, before Bada was released...

  • @domosification That is true, but it is not true on what you are implying, which bada is rip-off of Android.

The pull-down notification menu bar was originally from bada OS. Buttons in it, including the Wi-fi, bluetooth, silent/sound, auto-orientation buttons were also all from bada OS as well, as you can see in this video.

Another feature would be the widgets, live-wallpaper, etc. To add further, TouchWiz is actually completely from bada and it's integrated into Android.

  • @avalonkiller Actually, bada was release a long time after Android

  • @domosification Actually, Android ripped from bada

  • @domosification exactly
