Un pueblo con mar ( A people[village] with sea)
Valizas: un lugar mágico para admirar, respetar y disfrutar. El origen del pueblo se remonta a la época de la conquista española, con leyendas de piratas y naufragios que forman parte de la cultura propia del lugar.(Valizas: a magic place to admire, to respect and to enjoy. The origin of the people(village) goes back to the epoch of the Spanish conquest, with pirates' legends and shipwrecks that form a part of the own(proper) local culture.)

Las dunas móviles de Barra de Valizas conforman una de las más notables formaciones dunares de Uruguay y de Sudamérica.
