@SeattleJohnK the point is the words are wrong. Those words on the screen are not the words Mr. Hooker is singing in a lot of cases.

The words aren't for native English speakers. The Blue's and John Leee Hooker are deeply respected and studied around the world. Seeing the lyrics while hearing the timing of the song helps understand the artform that much better.

@mcblah subtitles are great for people that don't speak English as their native language. I introduce America music to my Taiwanese students as much as I can and with subtitles they can appreciate such soulful lyrics. "That" is when they are useful.

wow...i find it sad that someman feels this man's voice needs subtitles to be understood. Not only that, but they get em wrong in several places.
Clearly a man who need subtitles to understand this man tongue shouldn't be doin the transcribing.
