5D Mark II - DIY Film Dolly Test #1

Finally made my DIY Film Dolly with the help of my brothers and most of all with the help of my dad. Thank you!!!

Equipment Used:
(1) - CANON EOS 5D Mark II
(1) - 17-40 f4.0 L USM
(1) - 70-200 f4.0 L

Color Graded in ADOBE After Effects CS4

I know the color grading is horrid in the last shots but I got lazy and didn't want to re-render. But I have to say that I am very much impressed with the DIY Film Dolly. Not that bad for using it for the very first time.

Going to test it out a bit more, and hopefully post up a small "tutorial" but not as great as Jays!

If you were wondering what specs were used to build the dolly I used JAY BOYS, but tweaked it a bit. Thanks Jay!!!

Hey nice dollyaction!

Would you recommend me the canon 70-200mm 4,0l usm without image stabilizer?

Is it really shaky for that price?thanks!

@skatefuzzie123 Actually it's a very good price.  Not shaky at all, make sure you either use a tripod or if you are going to be shooting video with your camera and you do not have any stabilizers then you can easily put the camera strap around your neck and push outwards with your camera so that way it'll some what stabilize. Hope that helps!!
