@JackDatBoi I suspect I became good at downing due to being too lazy to use a glass for water at home, so I'd hold my head under the tap and drink as fast as it poured.
Some people recommend twisting the glass as you drink, but I find that wets the top of the glass, making it more likely to drip/pour over you. Also, it just gives you one more thing to concentrate on. I just concentrate on pouring steadily and trying to avoid waves, especially when I reach the bulb of the glass.
Cheers, although at 20 secs that was a medium paced yard. Amazingly the glasses didn't break. Just as well otherwise one of us would have been very damp.
