Ford Escape V6 'THEFT' light and engine problems including stalling

This is my Ford Escape showing that frequently whilst driving, the THEFT light on the dash board will illuminate, this is accompanied by the revs fluctuating and event the engine dies. This is BAD when I am driving along or going around a corner HELP!!!

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Events are at 31 seconds, then, 1:30; 1:44; 2:21; 2:30; 2:45; 3:26; 4:15 and 5:45.

So I found out the problem!!! It was just that the negative connection on the battery terminal was loose. It caused about a dozen fault codes on the ECU too. Fortunately a simple fix.
