Who are the real Chrisitans?

This is my whole thought on the creationist's idea of turning the Creationism v. Evolution into the Creationism v. Atheist idea.

Please note i am a non-believer, however I honnestly do not think anyone should deconvert simply because evolution is a valid scientific theory or fact and this video will explain why.

I don't understand why there's even a evolution vs creationism debate at all. Creationism's whole point has to do with the origin of life where Evolution was never meant to touch origins.

I was never under the impression that Creationism has only to do with the origin of life but more of the origin of everything (including the origin of diverse species which is what is covered by the theory of evolution). However if what you say truly is the case as far as creationism is concerned, I think the reason there is a debate is due to the general ignorance most people have of science, since the general population thinks that evolution does also encompass abiogenesis.

honnestly I think when it is boiled down, it has to do with money. Its easier to explain to people that evolution is evil then explaining that genesis is a metaphor. It raises a credibility issue that while it can be fixed, is much more difficult, and some people just arn't willing to try to look at it in a different way.

hi :) I am a 6 literal day creationist and i just wanted to point out something. death and destrution is a result of the fall, or the first disobediance of man. that is what evolution is based on is fossils. you can't have a fossil without death. And we judge whether the Bible is literal or figurative with context clues. Genesis is written in the point of veiw of an historical account. with parables context makes it pretty clear that they are stories, psalms are songs etc.

I do not believe that everything in all creation, can be as "elementary" as Darwin's "Theory of Evolution" would have us believe. God knows exactly how the world was created and the bible tells us in how long God created it (6 days) He explains the heavens and the earth have been here since before time began Genesis 1:1... Then on the first day he created "Time" day and night. If you are God, you can do anything in a snap of the fingers. and He said it took him a whole day! Its incomprehensible

There are also certain scriptures that are obviously metaphors but wholly true. salt, bread, sheep, etc... for example, Christians are to be the flavor of the world. (just think what salt and flavor mean to the strongest organ of your body (tongue) it completely transforms its normal function. (that is one way to imagine what real Christians through God are supposed to be doing around the world for humankind.

I am a Christian and everyday i struggle with questions and feelings i do not understand... but, I do know, the first thing that came to mind when i listened to your vlog was, God, Jesus, & The Holy Spirit; Cannot lie (it is literally impossible). Therefore, I believe, He is relaying and speaking an infinite & profound truth. He is illustrating a minds eye vision so our earthly finite bodies can grasp, understand and see. The bible says, There is nothing new under the sun. nothing.

unfortunately there are many christians who just say they are for some odd reason when they dont believe in god at all. To be honest I have a feeling in my heart that there is a god and for that reason I do believe in god, there have been so many people i've met who have actually heard a voice from god and these are the sort of people who don't lie about these things.

Well, you do make a good point. Creationism does encompass every subspecies of species today, however most Creationists will just cite this as "Micro Evolution" and then try to downplay it as not counting as actual Evolution, heh.

I think the latter part of what you say is mainly true. A quick listen into any of Hovind's or Comfort's talking points is clearly evident of that, though I might be being a bit fair citing those two.
