Just wanted to get some quick footage of the modifications that I've made to my new toy.

  • I've just bought the same canoe, question is what oars do you use with it? I've bought normal canoe oars and when I got it home I noticed the oar locks and am wondering if you tried both? Which works better for you.

  • @scjustin2002 I use regular row boat oars by Carlisle I bought them @ Dick's Sporting Goods. Never really tried canoe paddles with this boat. When I'm floating solo and I want to position my self a little closer to shore without disturbing anything when using the motor I like to use a Paddle board paddle. I do this so I could stand and fish and still maneuver. Thanks for the comment. Good luck with your boat.

  • @surjracer56 right on, one more question what length oars (oar lock oars) do you use with the boat, i was thinking 6', what works for you? not trying to ask you a crap load of questions but your the only one i see that has this boat. thank you

  • @scjustin2002 I use six foot oars. I find that they help turn the boat realy well when wanting to pivot in place. The length allows a long stroke so you move the boat a little faster with little effort. I have'nt seen our boat as much as I would like on youtube either so ask away. I hope you will make a vid of your boat so I can check out the mods you've made. Just link it to this one if you do and i'll check it out. Good luck with the boat.

  • Great job, i'm thinking about getting a canoe and your set up is pretty much what I want. Great ideas and creativity..Good Luck...Joe

  • @RevJoeyG Thanks for the compliment and good luck with your future vessel.

  • Great ideas, but looks kinda corny. Too much garb and not enough bare canoe.

  • @bassdominator1 Give me some time. I'll be doing a build video on the fishfinder mount i made. Thanks for the comment and request. when I do get the vid done I'll be sure to PM you.

  • i like your canoe and i was looking for a mount for a fish finder could u do a vid on it sometime

  • Using the center seat with 'cooler' cut out allows you all kinds of customization options... one option would be to use the whole thing vs. the 12x10x9 'cooler' box for a livewell... you just have to seal the drain hole cut out of the bottom of the center seat. I cut a hole out of the center seat and have my transducer mounted in there shoot through style, it's great. I basically have no wires anywhere cluttering anything by utilizing inside the center seat. thx again for the review.
