Fantastic, Sophie. * * * * * (5 stars) !!! I've marked this one as a favorite ! It's a shame it wasn't in a nice theatre with better acoustics. Sing something that Hayley hasn't done before, Sophie.

So like you, Squid, to have hidden Sophie's best performance from the great unwashed. What a graceful beauty she is. Don't you agree? Equally talented as her famous sister.
Please explain why the camera shifts - at 3:15 - towards the little red-haired spider monkey trained to turn pages between naps? Distracting!

Agree, Not the best accoustics' enjoyed' Will be watching for more video's.

Pretty good all things considered. I was taking a good look as the camera panned around and from what i saw, not the best accoustics.
-
@Siliven she has her own unique style. i think she'll could be on the same level as her sister someday.
-
I wouldn't say either sister is (better) than the other one they both have beautiful vioces and each one is different ;p
-
ahh Sophie maybe someday you can play Christine Daae or Emma Carew ;) with beautiful looks, voice and even acting ^^
-
Given the god awful sound quality/ support/ and location, she may as well have been busking again as of old. But , her capability shone through--so well done Sophie.

@MartinDn1001 i agree Martin!! oh and HI from HWI, this is devotedfan :)

I just dont think she is very good..

@redbike8 Okay, Isaac, I believe you.
I kinda feel sorry for Sophie, because if she wanted to start a singing career, I doubt she'd even bother trying...not that she isn't good, but I'm sure she feels inferior to Hayley.

Well, I dunno. She is studying music and law at Canterbury University. She has won an award in the school of music. I'll see if there is a link to it still. I can't put it here, so it'll have to be in a PM. MDB has seen it, I think.

What kind of award?
Siliven 2 years ago
Well, it is called:
Graduates in Music Prize
awarded to the most outstanding student in any of MUSI 131, 171, 172, 127 or 141
Sophie Westenra
I really have no idea how significant it is and the Canterbury University music school is not a very big one (by international standards). Presumably it is based on academic work as well as performance.

Why did these bogans make little Soph sing below a turnpike underpass? Waste of a beautiful woman!

That's where Ashburton is situated -- beneath a turnpike underpass.
