  • I don't understand why the Cars and Devo aren't in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame yet? Two bands that put energy into music from 1978-1984. By the way, it looks like Elliot Easton started the "Miami Vice look" 4 years before Don Johnson made it popular.

  • one of my favorite songs by the cars.

the song is impossible to find download!

    (from limewire and itunes,atleast)

  • @Orrphan If anything Powerpop, theres a difference, mixed with guitar rock, its the not the same as todays pop, Michael Jackson and Britney Spears is pop, its not the same

  • @THECARS7879 The cars are and were very pop. That's what makes them so great. They are new wave, pop and a little bit of rock and roll too.

  • @Orrphan the CARS are more like new wave, guitar rock , the CARS were never pop

  • @wolfie0509 you can get it on Bestbuy for 12. thats probably from Ebay and thats ridiculous

  • @pitbullrp What!?! $70-100 bucks!! That is ridiculous! I recall paying about $25 bucks for the Panorama CD brand new back in 1997. Unfortunately, like Candy-O, the Panorama CD does not include the song lyrics.

  • @shanedaddy78 From the actual Panorama album. Up and Down is track number 10. FYI.

  • @wolfie0509 Yes, I have it on vinyl from back in '80 - loved it. I just ordered the CD because I never had a CD of it, and could not find it locally either. Guess how much? Priced on Amazon for around $70.00, I've seen it priced over $100.00 on there too? What with that? They making it a rare collectors item or something?

  • @mxgirl315 I am a huge Cars fan, and years ago, when I was collecting their albums on CD, I bought them all new (including the anthology), with the exception of Panorama, which I couldn't find anywhere. Not coincidentally, it was the only Cars cassette I didn't own either. I found it on vinyl, but do not own a record player. I finally broke down and had my music store make a special order....a month later, I had Panorama on CD.

  • @superbulldog81 Absolutely!

  • It annoys me that they arent in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame yet. Come on, with them rereleasing 1979 Candyo on a gold disk they have to get in now!
