Temperature in Uganda will rose up to 1.5 degree Celsius over the next two decades. Its damaging agriculture and livelihood of whole communities, according population report published in 2009 published jointly with UN Population Fund reported. The increase would significantly reduce the production of coffee Ugandas leading agricultural export. The report also forecasts major disruption in rainfall patterns and increases of flooding and drought and cautions the farmers in the East African nations to adapt. In fact it is the women in rural communities who will be more affected by the climate change because as the country gets hotter and the rainfall more erratic growing sufficient food will require work. Ugandan women are primarily responsible for food security will need to work harder to secure basic resources. They will therefore have less time to secure education and income.
