Dear Gosh people stop comparing the movie and this. It's different people, a different plot, different stuff, they redid it. Heath's dead. The guy they have playing Patrick can't be him. Get over it and appreciate that this Patrick is good too. So is this Kat. Frankly the other characters besides Kat and Patrick are BETTER in this.

Im sorry but this will never be as good as the original movies, it practically the same plot, name, songs and it's not even great. Heath Ledger was SOOOO much better! And hot. But this isn't even funny it's kinda freaky.
