I celebrate Guy Fawkes. I burn a doll of the Queen.

I can fully understand that the Catholics were pissed off, after queen Elizabeth's vicious hunt for them. I agree with 1989warren, there was probably a good reason for which Guy Fawkes wanted to blow up the Parliament.
(BTW, have you seen V for Vendetta, all of you?)

England's Parliament is one of the most evil governments of all time. There was probably a good reason why Guy Fawkes wanted blow up Parliament. For example, Osama Bin Laden who was trained by the CIA to fight against the Russians in Afghanistan retaliated on 9/11 because he wanted to get back at the American military for stationing troops in his home country of Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War which was considered blasphemy to Saudi Muslims. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter

well the protestant leaders were trackin down the caholics. so i think it's quite understandable. Definitely not the same thing like 9/11!!

v for vendetta. the best movie

To those people on here who saw V for Vendetta and based their pro Guy Fawkes views on a comic book and a Hollywood movie, check your history. Guy Fawkes was a catholic terrorist who intended to kill protestant leaders with the Gunpowder Plot. He is no better than those who perpetrated 9/11.
A bit of both!

On Guy Fawkes day we set him on fire on a pile of wood. We're not celebrating him; we're burning him.
