One of my favorites of all the ST movies (ranks about # 3 for me; right behind "Khan" and the 2009 movie). The trailer is epic, exciting and serene (love the melancholy music by Cliff Eidelman). Fits the movie perfectly...

I don't think "First Contact" wasn't as classy or meaningful as this movie. Picard was totally out of character in it for one thing.

star trek 5 was a complete joke, vi was a cure.

This was a great film. It's my second fave of the originals after Khan. It was a perfect farewell from all of the original crew. I loved the political premise and the action. Too bad Generations came in and literally killed Kirk's character.
