5/7/09: Electric utility PNM Resources CEO Jeff Sterba discusses the Waxman-Markey American Clean Energy and Security Act with Bloomberg. Sterba says, the "best climate change solution is the one we do now, because the cost of uncertainty is enormous, on businesses and consumers."
The only uncertainty for Sterba and PNM is what else they are going to do (sale of gas co., annual rate increases) to stop them from losing money. Guess other countries benefitting greatly from renewable energy use isn't certain enough for Sterba and PNM's profits.

"We need to do it right"
Like they did with sulphur? And now they think they need to put it back? No, the best thing we can do now is nothing because we think we know better than nature. Look at the disastrous consequences of interfering with nature in Yellowstone.
