Rosie was among 198 dogs rescued from an overcrowded nonprofit claiming to offer animals for adoption in Alabama on February 28, 2011. Volunteers with United Animal Nations (UAN) took care of Rosie and the other dogs at a temporary shelter after the rescue. Here, UAN Emergency Services Manager Janell Matthies talks about how much Rosie has improved since she was rescued from neglect.
