The first time I heard this song summer 1990, as the song unfolded, massive tears filled my eyes. My dad had just had several strokes, my father in law passed away, I had survived 6 months without a job! Yet, I knew ,He was in it after all. Larnelle is a major blessing to point us to the Lord!!

This song reminds me when I first got saved back in 1982 and I was much closer to the Lord. I am going to do everything I can now to get back to being close to Him and feeling HIS love, so I can share that love with others as I once did. So much has happened to me and this song brings tears washing away some pain and hurt in my heart and mind. THANK YOU LORD JESUS. Thank you for posting this song.

I love this song. My favorite line is "We're always ready Lord to take the glory but were seldom willing to endure the pain" That really made me think about my relationship with God and how I need to get closer with him. And to know that he was there after all of my wrong doings and God still loves me.
