School project, had to make a how to video, ended up failing 8/10 rockets. the one that went perfectly was the test one that was not recorded at all.

get a pvc pipe thet the bottle will fit in and put a vary sharp object at the botom of the pipe then quickly shove the bottle down on the sharp object through the pipe and let go quickly

all you have to do is get a screw and a magnet and screw the mentos on the screw and put the screw under the cap and put the magnet on top of the cap and screw the cap on and when your ready take the magnet off and leave or shake

I found that the sweet spot is usually at an angle when the cap side hits the ground, but i always have mixed results.
