An impression of the Manifestation for Human Rights in front of the Chinese embassy in The Hague on 10 December 2010. At last the Nobelcomitee awarded the price to a Chinese dissident: Liu Xiaobo. This event was organized by the Tibet Support Group, International Campaign for Tibet Europe and the Tibetan Community in the Netherlands. Also the Uygur community, Passion for Human Rights (www.passievoormensenrechten.web-log.nl) and the Boeddhadharma Foundation participated. At the end of the manifestation PfHR delivered the ChinaAid petition (2600 pages, 150,000 signatures) for the release of the Human Rights attorney Gao Zhisheng, who was abducted on 4 February 2009. Because the Chinese ambassador never has the courage or dignity to receive these kinds of petitions in person, we had to deliver our request to release the Chinese Gandhi - all 2600 pages - into their letterbox. (This video is made by my friend the chairman of the Boeddhadharma Foundation: Henk Sanders)
Freedom will win !

Great to see such a large petition in support of Gao Zhisheng. Free Tibet, Free Mongolia, it is only when one Nation treats another Nation with dignity and allows the human beings there to live with complete freedom that they themselves can become free. Shame on the Chinese ambassador for not receiving the petition in person. I look forward to a day when all the "Super Powers" recognize they must lead by good example and not through fear and terror. Peace
