It's the Monday ShakeDown weekend news recap. Monte Carlo Rally ends with Citroen, Mini, and Skoda making season-opening statements. Morgan and Lotus logo-slap some Le Mans racecars, and we ask what you think about Grand-Am vs American Le Mans. Hosted by Leo Parente.

  • Loser has to go with Alex Roy on his next road trip

  • GA vs AMLS: AMLS has lost it's entertainment value for me. Weak car fields, the euro teams don't really come visit any more. I think the series is stale. What does it's technology provide for the average race fan? not entertainment. Grand Am has huge fields, lots of close racing action and besides the DP cars, most of the cars "LOOK" like something you can can buy from a dealer, lots of different brands so I can root for my team. and some of the winning drivers are AMERICAN.

  • ALMS!

i prefer the racing, prototypes, tracks, drivers, and cars.

    /2 cents

  • LOEB FTW!

Anyway, just found this channel. Glad you cover some rally. It is underrated for Americans.

  • @greeber18 Saw that car last year. Was / is private team doing the development. Do not think Chevy involve. Feels like Matech / Doran Ford GT programs. Done on own vs factory.

  • hey leo, is chevy making an official camaro gt3 spec to compete internationally or is it just going to be individual companies doing it themselves and selling it, if not does or will chevy give any engineering support? btw is there anything special at the houston auto show; i am going sunday.

  • are you guys going to be going to the wrc in mexico? its probably the closest its going to get to the america. i wanted to take i road trip to it with my friend but relised its 3600miles and a 60 hour round trip from florida.

  • Sick football still. in the beginning there.

  • @cdc9906 Born in Milford [Italian, right?] a bit in Springfield, grew up in Natick, went to BC, so last stop was Boston......

  • @LeoParente Hey if you set your DVR.. WRC coverage is on Velocity (was Discovery HD Theater). It's on Sat or Sun morning when it is on. It's a few weeks late, but at least you get to see more of what happened in the Rally (and name pronunciation, LOL) .. Before that I got coverage on bit-torrent because it wasn't even available in the US.
