December 2009, our recent visit to Tasman Glacier in Mount Cook National Park, the largest of several glaciers found in New Zealand.

From Lake Tekapo, we hit the road in the early hours of the morning, stopped briefly a few times to admire the grandeur of mountain ranges surrounding us, took some photos and videos for remembrance. Exploring the glacier was utterly breathtaking and truly an amazing experience, not to forget the weird feeling of touching and tasting a 300 year old ice.

I hardly used my camera worried it might fall or get splashed by water, so I sort of blended some clips from my camera and hubby's camcorder, also, please I'm so sorry for the jerky effect . Anyway, hope you'll enjoy it.
