Rakion - Chewlong's Mage Combo Video 2 - Mage ice aiming

Yes. A gaming compilation combo video. How sad... Oh well! Begin explanation...now.

In all honesty, I hate compilation videos with music etc coz its not real time! I prefer videos with no extra music and edited gameplay as little as possible.

So, the reasons why i made an edited compilation combo video?

Well...first of all, I was playing cheesy sobby music (The Script) while i was recording, but didn't know it was on. So I amped it up with alittle bit of Cassette Kids =D Aussie music!

Second, Fraps lags gameplay! It might be smooth here, but it's super hard to play with it during recording.
My laptop is super in performance etc but it still screen lags for some reason. Maybe it'll record better on my desktop, hmm.

Anyway, so yes, most of the editing is just to cut off some really boring bits where my ice aiming fails =P

Some bits you might see the video jump. Recording is abit spiky. Oh well.

Pretty nice icing skills, but in 31-99 SU games it gets a lot harder to aim because of the mspd everyone has.

Well, I've vsed higher levels when i played rakion, and do believe that it is possible to kill them, even ones in their 90s. Well I have before. Its just that if u make a mistake, you get punished alot. So yea, isn't impossible like everyone seems to say. Just improbable. But when you can ice where you want to ice, you'll be unstoppable =) But I guess I won't be playing anymore. Rakion won't install coz of some 16bit startup error or something. Any ideas? Thxs for ure comment =) What's ure main?

Go to your display settings and try changing your 16bit to 32bit.

My main is mage lvl56. CryoPhobia.

Yea tried that before. Tried it again just then too. Still have the error coming up =/ Maybe I should just give up (I do have a ps3 >_>). Any more ideas? I'm thinking of updating video drivers, but i doubt that'd work. I'm located in australia! If you get this to work, ill find u in america and get owned.

did u put in stats for range? (can u tell me wut stats to put in) and do u grip too?

Let me be even more nerdy & explain icing to u. Icing = fwd fwd swing mouse attack button ya? Yes but it's more complex. How much you delay your button presses in between your fwd and fwd and then your attack button depends how much you can swing your mouse. Slower taps = can do a 360 spin and hit someone, vice versa. Pro icing also = hold left or right and encircling an enemy, then icing. Also possible to keep walking fwd and icing by tapping 1 n a1/2 fwd taps then aim/swing mouse n icing.

Sometimes I find fighting people with alot of move speed easier to ice just because they often walk into your attacks ^_^. Easier to camp them.

It really depends on your play style. If you are going to to stick with icing and be hardcore at that, put your stats in range. Icing though, takes alot of practice to get it right and to aim it at enemies without camping (if you know what i mean). If your going for a basic mage (hitting with your stick) go with basic stats and attack speed stats. It's easier to basic but i think this takes longer to kill ppl, and for me, less fun. after all its just hitting a button. Can also be a grip mage etc
