¡Feliz Cumpleaños, Adis! (at Casa Rafael y Adis in Baracoa, Cuba)

Casa Rafael y Adis is the #1 casa particular in Baracoa according to Cuba Junky and was voted the second best casa in Cuba two years in a row (2009 and 2010). Its success is partly due to the spacious guest room and bathroom above the main living quarters, leading to a roof-top terrace with a view of the surrounding rooftops and ocean. The room is located in a house that is kept scrupulously clean. (Sheets and towels are changed daily unless you direct otherwise.) The location is close to the central square, Casa de la Trova, shops and the seawall known as the Malecon. Meals prepared by Adis and Gisele are tasty, especially the black bean soup and fish in coconut sauceand demitasses of coffee are available during the day. The family is attentive to guest needs yet also respects maximum privacy.
