your religion was created by a military general... you realize that right? and your religion is the only one that ACTUALLY says to KILL the ones who do not follow. its a joke my friend. and yes it may have become urbanized by a younger more americanized croud. but its roots are still there. and do you not find it a little convenient that the leader of the religion suddenly "spoke to god" or in his case Allah. once the christian crusades stepped in all those years ago?

Excellent points, muslims are getting a bad rap in the media & it is greatly misunderstood, even by many who would profess to be Islamic. (incendently this applys christian too)
Sadly however there are many who propagate the negative image through ill-considered action. A week long riot over a cartoon, calls for execution over a teddy and demanding barbaric ideas be made law does little to dispel the image.
One can hope more people like you are heard instead
