This video was taken over a couple months with the last footage done today. We're using v-groove 8" white pine tongue and groove boards to complete our 2nd floor ceiling. With just the two of us doing it it's slow going, but it's nearly complete. Next the bathroom ceilings, the basement door and the remaining two attic bump-up walls. *sigh* We'll use ever scrap of the wood for something, no matter how long it takes!

  • can you tell me a bit more about the nails you are using for the pine? They look great what are they called?

  • @gsjodin They are made by Tremont Cut Nails, a division of Acorn Manufacturing Co. Inc. We bought them right off the acornmfg website, and you can find more retailers at, tremontnail. Our local hardware store carried some kinds, but not the ones we wanted. We used them throughout the house. Great nails.

  • It looks great! You;re going to have such a beautiful home when eveything's finished. :)

  • Thanks! Glad you like it. It's not quite as painful as watching paint dry. Some of that is coming soon too! LOL
