  • This film does what it was made to do, and just so it excels. It shows what photography — writing with light — can achieve.

  • This is absurdly brilliant.

  • This is stunning. I nearly cried at the end, Stella. Such a well done production.

  • i can't believe this vid wasn't even mentioned in the winners! got ROBBED! the second place winner was submitted WAY after the deadline also...BOOOO

  • I seriously cant believe this did not win the competition or even place. I mean its really beyond words. Have you seen the videos the chose. They are childish and tacky compared to this one. This is pro work. Seriously disappointed with the judgment.

  • Excellent, planned well, organized with a bang, and the facts were presented that it woke me up to AMD which I had no idea of at all, thank you...

  • Excellent! I am proud to be involved in this video! The crew is wonderful and the final cut amazed me! The cinematography, direction, music - everything worked! Thanks Xander for letting me die for art. and this is art - as well as a message presented in a captivating manner.

  • What a marvelous production! The actor was wonderful, and the music was top-notch! The violin was an amazing touch! A lot of thought went into the making of this 5-star rated short film.

  • kerey! kerey!

  • Beautiful use of imagery and metaphor enhanced by compelling script, seering photography and elegiac soundtrack. Describes the disease with dignity but without flinching from the hard truth. Most of all, it accentuates the universal dimension and humanity behind the disease.

  • Never knew I could learn about a disease in such a lyrical and poetic way. There are so many ways to inform, but this is the most powerful. The pipes breaking and the water spewing forth create a stunning visual metaphor. And the second time the actor says "time moves on" is riveting. Wonderful script, excellent urban scenes, and glorious music. A+
