Never viewed this clip before and wasn't aware what was to occur. However, I immediately noticed the occilation in the tail boom and whilst not a pilot, knew this was NOT normal. As stated earlier, why didn't someone on the ground notify the pilot and give the guy a fighting chance to land???

The CH-53 was made for the navy and it's tail rotor folds for ship storage. You could see the tail rotor shaking at the fold joint. I have seen this happen with a CH-53E. I dont know why those guys on the ground who had to have been in contact with it didnt notice it>

CH53 Sea Stallion is an excellent helicopter sikorsky has been making this model for years.Mechanical failure happens even to the best machines this is an IDF owned and operated Helicopter.The IDF bought the right machine it just broke down lucky for them it was at takeoff or it would have been worse.

@codmad11 That piece of shitcopter is used by th US-Army and the Federal Defence Forces of Germany since 1966. IF maintained and checked regulary(which is done by the armed forces) this vehicels are very reliable.
