Laying the Foundation: Fingers

Part 2 in my "Laying the Foundation" series- this time I'll show you how to apply a liquid foundation just using your fingers. The product I'm using as an example is Almay Line Smoothing makeup. Look for more videos to come in this series!

you're definitely right. Makeup for cameras and bright lights for tv is different than everyday- you have to accentuate things even more than usual likes eyes and lips. thank you for your kind comments everyone

sometimes my liquid foundation stains my nails... How can I prevent that? Should I wear gloves?

@rahh55571 Hi, I'm not an expert but I once had a same problem like yours :) I too use moisturizer before I apply foundation, and it resulted as greasy, yucky appearance by the end of the day. Apparently, the tips is, after you put on moisturizer, let it dry up a bit. Moisturizers tend to have this watery, hydrated texture, so dry it off (to make it faster, fan your face with your hands or magazine :D) then afterwards you put your foundation. That trick works for me :) Hope it helps you :D

I use liquid foundation and i apply it with my fingers but like after an hour or so my makeup looks really greasy and gross :( and makes me really self concious. I have a little bit of acne. I also use a moisterizer. Is there any way i can get it to not look greasy?
