A labour of love for Academy Award-winning director, Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Oceans Eleven) Che features a career defining performance from Benicio del Toro (Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2008) in the role of Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara. Released in two parts, Che Part One chronicles Guevaras rise from humble doctor to a rebel Army Commander in Fidel Castros Cuban Revolution. Che Part Two gives an account of his later life. Having successfully overthrown Batista, he attempts to export his revolutionary ideals across Latin America. Embraced by his commrades for his strength in the face of adversity, Part Two reveals the human being behind the symbol.

Che Part One is released on January 1 followed by Che Part Two on February 20.

from what i understand ernesto guevara was a revolutionist who lead the cuban revolution he was a communist, fighting not to take cuba for his own but to stop the exploition and slave labour in latin american countries he later went on to disagree with vedals policies and cut all threads with vedal and cuba and set out to revolutionise bolivia another latin american country he was later captured and killed in cold blood please educate me about any thing i may have missed
