the point I am trying to make is that Ryan Smythe doesnt take dives. And that hit was illegal. Liles stuck his knee out for one reason or another. Intentional or not, he deserved the penalty.

liles could have let him by man he stuck his leg out. maybe it was an accident but he still deserved a game misconduct. But I see your point, I can't say that Liles intentionally went for the knee to knee blow.
