Eastern Sierra hiking trip Sept. 2007
Hiking trip with Scott, Jay and Art and Jeff. Lakes visited in the Eastern Sierras in California are: Heart, Long, Chicken Foot among others.
Trailhead: Mosquito Flat out of the Rock Creek Lake area.

I really like the music...it goes along with being in the snow. I'd never want to camp in the snow...too cold, but I enjoyed your film and the music. Looks like you ll had fun.

For something different, you could have a vehicle parked on the other side of morgan pass at pine creek canyon( at the pack station) and hike from mosquito flats over morgan pass to pine creek

where did you go in the Eastern sierras cause i am looking for a new place to go backpacking and from the look of these pictures this looks like it might be the place to go

This trip was South of Lake Crowley. Rock Creek road. I believe Rock Creek road is the highest paved road in North America. Because there is a road there you will have a few more hikers with you. Not bad though. Hike is really simple. For a trip that is an advanced hike (about 20 miles). I recommend Puppet Lake. It is worth it if you like to fish. Golden trout are really large. The trailhead for Puppet is near North Lake out of Bishop.

I agree. I had dishwalla on it originally. The gay copyright police swooped in and shut it down until I changed it to an "approved" song.
