just a few comments, try and get a antenna on ur house, like an antron or silver rod. Get a better burner, a 35watt one is ok but you should be looking at 50 watts minimun on FM. Also, dont have your antennas too close to you or the pc as the radiation will effect not only you but your hard disk and cd's at tht range. Dont have ur burner on top of ur radio cos those things make heat and you dont want to be damaging your rig.

Since when was a MP3 player and a PDA classed as radio equipment?

It's not, but the PDA runs PocketDigi which I use all the time for digital mode decoding when operating mobile or portable, so it can be classed as a decoder. The MP3 player is used a lot to record and redirect audio through Bluetooth, so it again is used with the radio equipment.
All fits together :)
