Clemence said herself. Fleur is the girl that popular and is the beauty-queen of the school. But when she lost her little sister in the lake she was really worried. You could see the human side of her character. Its true that she didnt do well in the tournament but she is a girl against 3 boys. I think she is really strong but her strenght not often physical. She has a strong heart she stayed with Bill supporting him and she tried her best in the tasks too for her school.

For those who think that Fleur sucks, may I remember you that she was against an adult Death Eater? If Maugrey (or Barty Jr)didn't want her to fail, maybe she would have done a better perfomance a the tournament

Stop hating on her she is one of the best characters in the series she's brave , courageous and really cares about people who are important to her! when bill was attacked she could have walked out but she didnt! in the deathly hallows she didnt have to have like half a dozen wizards and an ungrateful goblin in her house but she did! people are sayin shes weak cos she didnt win the triwizard but she survived the battle of hogwarts didnt she???!!! <3 xxx

Fleur might not seem tough, but remember that she got one of the highest notes during the first task (which according to me was PRETTY dangerous), only getting a little burn on her skirt, during the second task maybe she didn't have the amount of strenght Harry had to fight the grindylows,

finally at the third task again she wasn't able to show her true potential because of Krum being "imperiused", but later in the books she fights against Death Eaters and all =P

Besides she's beautiful and makes me laugh =)
