LV & Ebay - I HAVE JUST BEEN CONNED! PART 2 of 3

Help!
I won the following auction on ebay:-
LOUIS VUITTON BRIEFCASE SUITCASE VINTAGE COTTEVILLE 50 - eBay Other Luggage, Luggage, Travel, Tickets Travel. (end time 22-Feb-09 10:11:13 AEDST)

The seller had 1) good photos, 2) over 200 Positives, 3) no recent negatives, 4) seemed honest.....

SO I PAID VIA PAYPAL..... AND......

ABSOLUTE FRAUD !!!!
Received parcel today - it was a box packed with plastic foam and a 3kg box of washing powder...... THIS IS FRAUD!

Received parcel today - it was a box packed with plastic foam and a 3kg box of washing powder...... THIS IS FRAUD!

Item is supposed to be a Louis Vuitton Suitcase - a few errors made by this fraudulent seller:-

1) the weight registered by the post office at sending was 3kg - a Louis Vuitton Suitcase weighs over 5kg! THEREFORE THE CORRECT ITEM WAS NEVER SENT!

2) the dimensions of the box used could not have ever contained the Louis Vuitton suitcase as it would not fit! IT IS TOO SMALL!

3) I rang the postal service in Australia Australia Post. They confirm that if the item was opened by Customs the replacement sticky tape would be green with a serial number attached. They also indicated the item would have a letter attached inside the box. NO SUCH LETTER WAS INSIDE THE BOX and NO GREEN STICKY TAPE HAS BEEN USED.

4) The items description is a direct lift off from a Commercial web site.

I got a poor response from ebay suggestion I contact the seller to discuss the matter. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE! I RANG THE SELLER AND ADVISE ABOUT THE FRAUD ! SHE IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP ON ME AND REFUSES TO ANSWER THE PHONE SINCE! The seller is a CRIMINAL and deserves jail time for pulling this stunt. I expect the full support of Ebay and Paypal in getting my money refunded IMMEDIATELY. I only bought this item because of the PayPal guarantee ! Please organize my refund IMMEDIATELY.

look on the bright side, the person who conned you, if you find them and managed to kill them youd be able to wash the blood off your clothes!

Over the years I have paid for three laptops which never arrived, and received at least 5 counterfeit bags. Only ever got my money back once. Paypal claims to offer buyer protection but it just doesn't.

this is so messed up! I AM SO SICK of people conning people. I am trying to sell 100% authentic Louis Vuitton on Ebay for the 1st time, I never used ebay before, but this makes me nervous and I can see why customers would be nervous. Good for you for getting your money back. What is wrong with people? BTW, that is so much money, ebay is dangerous in that regard, and look at all the drama you had to go through! you should get paid damages for the stress in my mind!

i was also conned for £500 off ebay and ebay and paypal did nothing, i told the police and eventually the police arrested him but he got away with it and the other people on ebay he conned for at least £20,000 and the police let him get away with it, ebay looked after this conman and he is still on ebay and ebay do sweet fa

you are lucky i was conned recently and lost my money,paypal did not believe i bought the item off ebay and so i have to sue paypal,they are bad news and the sooner they go out of business the better, i started a new site to expose the conmen,both ebay and paypal look after these fraudsters and do nothing about it,they are idiots
