The Kesh jig (Low Whistle and Guitar)

Hi again!

I had some time off and wanted to see how the kesh jig would be with guitar backing, so I gave it a shot. The guitar has standard tuning with capo on the 3. fret. The Low Whistle is a Kerry Pro Low F

It's not synced properly all the way through as you can hear, and that is because I didn't play it smooth enough when I first recorded it on the whistle. Sorry about that, but hey, you get the idea : )

wow this is great!!! I play the kesh on my whistle but never imagined the backing with these chords. Makes the tune sound amazing! Are these your own chords or traditional?

I always make up my own chords for backing, and it's all improvised in the key of Bb. So there is no excact pattern I follow. THe whistle was a bit sharp when I recorded it, so its more like a quarter step above Bb actually.

Glad you like the chord line. I think it works out great for this tune as well.

Just fantastic. You were really good when I saw your first videos but now you are simply brilliant!! Way to go!! Should really try and get my hands on a similar low whistle. The sound is really good!
