New law media censorship in China

There is a new proposed law in China that would impose a heavy fine on media outlets that report breaking stories that have not first been authorized or given the "ok." Specifically, the new law would be aimed at foreign media outlets reporting in China.

In their defense they have a gigantic population, so any of their activities can be potentially labeled "most in the world". All countries censor media - in one way or the other. Granted, the CCP is extreme, but don't fool yourself - Western media is every bit as discriminating and oppressive.

lol yeah we Americans only post bad news and maybe what we post isn't even true some times, btw i think corporate America hides a lot too, yeah i think china is just in a state of change and they could always rebel and change it in a day or two but it is a complex issue, but with knowledge comes power so they will change

true, i mean, to be honest, i posted these comments a while ago but im almost positive i didnt say china did NOT censor the media, because they most certainly do. i was just making the point that everyone manipulates and censors the media because it is an illusion of the real world.

I know that our capitalism is making the world unhappy, not only that in 70 years it will be possible that our earth is ruined forever, but censorship isn't a good thing,we will overcome or not its a 50/50.
