Back in 2001, Bob Dixon at Advanced Vehicle Design (AVD) was very helpful and corteous in allowing us to own a piece of history in the form of the Windcheetah recumbent trike.

A product of the innovative design of the legendary Mike Burrows who also designed the Lotus bike, this trike has set a record from Lands End to John O'Groats in 41 hours 4 mins and 22 secs, completing the 861 miles under the power of the also incredible Andy Wilkinson at an average speed exceeding 41mph.
