Climate extremes, including devastating floods, severe droughts, snowstorms, heatwaves and cold waves, were recorded in many parts of the world.

This year the extreme warm events were more frequent and intense in southern South America, Australia and southern Asia, in particular.

Carbon trading markets nose dived following the failure at Copenhagen to secure binding targets on CO2 emissions

European Union carbon markets dropped by nearly 9 percent

Maurice Strong stood to enrich his company to the tune of trillions if a binding agreement on CO2 had been formulated

With carbon prices set to drop as low as 10 euros a tonne in the first quarter of 2010, analysts are saying that only a Senate approval of the U.S. cap and trade bill will rescue the market

This video made it about 16 secs without something scientifically illiterate. The usual cooling tower emitting steam- not smoke/Co2 etc.

This is a record, usually it's under 10 secs.

Same goes for any follower of the faith trying to explain how a trace of extra Co2 can cause some kind of disaster

Temperatures over the past 12 years are 0.4 of a degree warmer than the dozen years leading up to 1997.

Even the gloomiest climate models back in the 1990s didn't forecast results quite this bad so fast.

"The latest science is telling us we are in more trouble than we thought," said Janos Pasztor, climate adviser to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

@Nightversionn.

"The the? entire north polar icecap is expected to be gone in ten years"

Ha ha ha - good one - your're joking right?

Gone within 10yrs - You really need to get a grip on reality.

The Arctic is just fine - there is absolutely NO evidence supporting YOUR totally RIDICULOUS claim.

For the last 5yrs the Arctic has been building at a rate of 5cm per year.

Check out the Russian stations set up 20 years ago - they're almost covered 30+feet.

The Arctic aint going anywhere.
