Smoke-Free rally on March 4, 2008 at Monona Terrace in Madison WI. We want our legislators to pass a 100% smoke-free worksite law to protect all workers and the public from the toxins in secondhand smoke. We don't want Wisconsin to be the ashtray of the midwest.

  • Adolph Hitler would be so proud.

  • Creepy. Just downright creepy.

If you don't want to be exposed to SHS, don't go into a PRIVATE establishment that allows it. It's that simple.

Also, those kids were allowed to skip school to attend this 'rally'. Nice.

  • sounds like a NAZI RALLY TO ME!

  • This is so sick. Pushing bigotry on kids. :(

  • How many of the kids in attendance were striving for the scholarships that Tobacco Free Kids gives out ro promote their agenda? Yep TFK hands out the dough! You only need to look at the TFK IRS 990forms to see it!

  • Why don't they do this on a weekend when there's no school?

  • Wonder how many of those antis at the rally go to bars that are voluntarily smoke-free, ones in any neighboring states w/a ban, or in Wisconsin communities under total bans? I seriously doubt many at that rally give a crap about patronizing bars, even if one chose the next day to voluntarily go smoke-free.

BAN the ban(and future bans), and reject the junk science antis use to ridiculously justify smoking bans that was thrown out in federal courts. Support free choice on the smoking issue!

  • It reminds me of the DARE activities. When the kids get home with their friends, they light up a joint. The person selling it doesn't require ID. I wonder how many of these kids are smokers.

  • So very...disturbing.
