  • Last year I read my first Richard Laymon book "Night in the Lonesome October" and loved it. It was pretty creepy and funny at the same time. Now I'm reading No Sanctuary and it's very exciting so far. I'm definitely gonna read more of him cause I've read many Stephen King and Dean Koontz books the past years. It's always nice to discover different writers in the horror genre. It's fun to hear and read what other thinks about the books I read, I'm a horror fanatic lol...Greetings from Norway.

  • Greetings from U.S.A. my horror fan friend

  • Just got into laymon and the woods are dark is a great read, love his style. Dark mountain is my fave so far but i'm gonna read 'em all before i pick a favourite. Great review by the way, good job.

  • Thanks alot for the compliment and for watching. If you like creepy stuff, I also reccomend Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill. I should be reviewing that in the future.

  • Good review. I love his novels. Woods are Darks is a great book, it delivers a huge punch.

  • @sephirothfromff7 it seems like all the great books and book series are always too short in the end, am i right???

  • Bought all the laymon novels i didn't have released in the usa which was 5. Was also lucky enough to score a copy of all hallows eve right at barnes and noble. The only laymon novel that would be carried that isn't a leisure release. It was the imort uk version. I read beware first and thought it was close to if not the best RL book i've read upto this point. Then i read flesh, that was a let down. The story just wasn't that good in my opinion. All hallows eve is next. Number 23 i believe.

  • i have read alot of richard laymon books, these include - darkness tells us, island, all hallows eve, the beast house, the glory bus, midnights lair, dark mountain, one rainy night, bite and fiend, i have saw this book a few times but never bought it, but after watching this i might, thanks for uploading this video as i love richard laymon, and its a real shame he passed away and cant make more books :(

  • For Richard Laymons books I agree

  • As long as its a good book I don't care if it has a lot of pages.

Actually I'd prefer it to be longer.
